About
The Kidney Foundation of Canada University of Alberta Club raises awareness for kidney disease and organ transplant on campus. All of our funds are donated to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

The Kidney Foundation of Canada supports patients by referring them to treatment options and providing information on how to adapt to living with kidney disease. For example, they offer a community kitchen to provide tailored recipes to adapt to additional dietary restrictions as a result of kidney disease. They offer scholarships for patients, pay for gas if patients live far from a dialysis treatment centre, and send the kids to a specialized kidney summer camp which can support their needs! They advocate for policy change to support the interests of dialysis patients, such as changing how organ donation is processed.

Act as if what you do makes a difference... it does.
Our Mission
As a student club affiliated with the Kidney Foundation of Canada, we strive to increase awareness for various kidney conditions prominent in both Canadian adults and children among youth at the University, and work towards encouraging other students to become involved, whether through donation or through event participation, in the fight against kidney disease.

Our Vision
We want to create a loving and caring community where everyone feels comfortable and has access to education, opportunities, and aid.
